BINA Center for Jewish Identity and Hebrew Culture
Shavuot 5775 - May 2015
Only 10 Days 'Til Shavuot!
Dear Friends,
Here at BINA, we love the holiday of Shavuot so much, we're counting down the days! Traditionally, Shavuot is the holiday where the People of Israel celebrate the receiving of the Torah, and stay up all night learning.
For BINA, Shavuot - and the learning that we do all year long - isn't just about receiving Torah, but about reinterpretingand reshaping Torah, about making it relevant and reclaiming it as our own, as something that belongs to all of us.
We invite you to come learn with us, to join us in reshaping Torah and Jewish culture for the 21st century, in Israel, in the USA, and around the world - this month, and beyond!
Chag Sameach! Happy Festival of Fruitful Learning!
